Amsterdam

Today we dropped off the hire car and then caught a taxi to the ship which will be our base for the next 4 weeks. After dropping off our luggage we walked into Amsterdam to see what we could with our own personal walking tour.

One of the canals we walked over - Amsterdam is called the Venice of the North because it has so many.

And we could not help noticing the houses leaning - they did say how soft the land is.

And more sights walking around:

 There are hundreds of bikes - for transporting more than just one person too!

And then we came across Madam Tussaud's Museum:
